He holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch -1981) from the Bangalore University and a Masters degree in Infrastructure Planning (M.I.P -1987) from the University of Stuttgart. During his tenure in Germany, he extensively studied Vedic Architecture and Vasthu Shastra at the centre for Vedic studies, Heildelberg, run by ISKON , Europe . Due to this he is well versed in the analysis of Vasthu factors influencing the built-environment especially for residential, industrial and commercial establishemnts. Hence, in his Architectural designs, he incorporates Vasthu Principles both at Macro- & Micro-levels. I.e in the design of Layouts for apartments, industrial complexes etc. and also in the designing of indivisual entities within the complex. He takes pleasure in giving guest lectures on “The application of Vasthu principles in modern day Architecture” which has been well accepted by intellectuals far and wide. After returning from Germany in the early nineties, he set up his Architectural consultancy and he has designed and supervised a wide variety of Industrial, Commercial and Institutional projects in Bangalore, Mysore, etc using VASTHU priinciples as the guiding principle in his designs. His practice based in the Silicon City of Bangalore, strives to make a healthy blend between traditional architecture and sustainability issues with regard to the Built environment. He also engages himself in cost-effective technology, eco-friendly building techniques for housing the urban poor. He is involved in academics being a Professor in the School of Architecture at Dayanadanda Sagar Ciollge of Engineering, a reputed Institution of Higher Learning. In my capacity as Professor, he has delivered guest lectures and presented papers at various International and National Conferences. Jean-Louis Cohen Jean-Louis Cohen was born in 1949 in Paris. Trained as an architect at the Unité Pédagogique n° 6, in Paris, he took a Ph.D. in History at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in 1985 and received an Habilitation à diriger des recherches from the same institution in 1992. Jean-Louis Cohen's research activity has been chiefly focused on Twentieth century architecture and urban design. He has studied in particular German and Soviet architectural cultures, colonial planning in North Africa and interpreted extensively Le Corbusier's work and Paris planning history. From 1997 to 2003, the French Minister of Culture appointed him to create the Cité de l'architecture, a museum, research and exhibition center opened in 2007 in the Paris Palais de Chaillot. During this period, he directed the Institut français d'architecture and the Musée des Monuments Français, the two main components of the Cité. He has been a curator for numerous exhibitions, including Paris-Moscou (1979) and the centennial show L'aventure Le Corbusier (1987), both at the Centre Georges Pompidou. He has also conceived at the Canadian Center for Architecture Scenes of the World to Come (1995). Michael Levin Art and Architectural Historian Prof. Michael Levin, born in Jerusalem, Israel, studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, Princeton University, USA, and the Courtauld Institute of Art, London University, UK, where he earned his Ph.D. He is currently Head of the new of Multidisciplinary Art Department as well as Head of Culture Studies and lecturer of Modern and Contemporary Art and Architecture in the Faculty of Design at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, Ramat-Gan, Israel, and until now also in the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. He was also co-head of the new postgraduate studies in conservation. He taught at the Department of Art History at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem (1973-80, 1996-97) and at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem (1993-2000), and served as Head of General Studies at Bezalel (1995-1999). As Art Advisor to the Mayors of the metropolitan cities Jerusalem (1978- 85), and Tel Aviv (1987-95), he fostered the installation of a large number of public works of art in both cities.

He studied at M.I.T., the Chicago Institute of Design, and Yale University. After serving several years in the Navy and after working in the late 1940s and early 1950s as an architectural draughtsman, he joined Skidmore, Owings & Merrill as a designer (1957-9). His next positions included architectural draughtsman with Paul Rudolph in New Haven (1959-61), chief of design with Harry Weese in Chicago (1962), and then partner with Norman Koglin (b 1928) in Chicago (1962-4), before founding Stanley Tigerman and Associates in Chicago (1964-82). Since 1964 he has been the Principal of Stanley Tigerman and Associates Ltd., in Chicago. He has also taught at several Universities in the United States. During his early career, Tigerman borrowed extensively from an eclectic blend of styles. In later years, his diverse design style has progressively assumed a more sensual and theatrical character. Tigerman's early skill with curves and perspective has expanded to include organic shapes, bright color, topiary, and allegory. From his early eclectic styling he has developed into an idiosyncratic theorist. Tigerman creates specific and unique designs for each individual client. He sees design as a complex representation of art and criticism. With the transformation of his design approach, he has become a leading advocate of architecture as a cultural and technological response to society. His works have developed an increasingly Classical vocabulary. Tigerman generates designs that are marked by formal inventiveness, sculptural and compositional finesse and attentiveness to detail. He references pop and pornography, history and literature to create formal design building blocks. He feels that architecture should be fun, witty, and appealing. Unfortunately this design aesthetic has led to some decidedly trivial design programs. Tigerman has been a central influence on the architectural community of Chicago. He has helped to create a community of discussions among Chicago designers and to encourage talented beginners to participate.
